Dr. Hiba Khaled

Physician. Educator.

Capacity Builder.

Dr. Hiba Khaled is a physician whose work focuses on stress recovery in high-functioning individuals exposed to sustained pressure. She has worked globally across clinical, academic, and government settings. Across medicine, education, and leadership, she has pursued one question: how do people function well under sustained pressure without eroding their capacity to recover? From these combined experiences, she developed a pathway that addresses chronic stress across health, impact, and legacy — restoring recovery capacity in the body, stabilizing the environments people operate within, and ensuring that capacity holds over time.

A systems thinker drawn to the patterns that emerge across disciplines and cultures, she is fascinated by what different traditions around the world have always understood about the body — and by how that wisdom holds up against the science. She believes in the power of human connection, a belief that has taken her around the world and into the study of other languages. She speaks Arabic and English fluently, is conversational in Spanish, and is currently learning Portuguese.

Medicine
Anesthesia & Perioperative Medicine
Trained in a specialty where high-stakes decisions are made under acute pressure every day. Perioperative medicine taught her that physiological reserve determines who recovers and who doesn't. Patients with greater reserve tolerate acute stress better, recover faster, and experience fewer complications. That principle — build reserve before you face the pressure — is the foundation of everything she does.
